Volunteers Are Needed!
By Mary Burkett, DRF Chairwoman
You have probably heard that the Romney campaign needs volunteers to make phone calls. It’s very easy and you can walk in any time between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The calls are simple to make. Headquarters is located at 134 North 200 East, Suite 202.
The Washington County Republican party also needs volunteers to staff its headquarters Monday through Friday, 10 am to 8 pm. It’s organized into 2-hour shifts to make it as easy as possible to volunteer.
The volunteers will distribute information about voting and about Republican candidates. In addition, they will make calls to voters that attended the caucuses earlier this year to get out the vote and encourage those attendees to influence others to do the same. This headquarters is located at 134 North 200 East Suite 100.
Volunteering for 2 hours, once a week is easy to do and much needed! Light snacks and drinks are provided as a small token of thanks to all volunteers. Getting out the vote is ESSENTIAL to get our country back on track! This election is more important than any we have ever experienced. PLEASE volunteer just 2 hours of time, once a week!
